Do you have any house or yard projects slated for this summer?

I am hoping to paint the bathroom vanity and the cupboard on the wall.

I also need to do some painting outside, trellises and stuff. But I'm having a hard time deciding on a colour. The previous owners of this place painted everything white. But I've been against white for a while. Now I think I'm changing my mind. White does have a Victorian feel to it. Isn't it confusing when your tastes change? lol

I want a corner wildflower garden, or plant lilac bushes.  Will probably have to call digger's hotline first as it is near the utility poles.

I want a lot done..a cement patio off the deck.  Don't know if it will get done since money
will be a little tight for us.  The house trim needs painting.  We are still working in the inside and
hopefully next week the carpet in my bedroom will go in.  So outside stuff will have to wait..again.

Judy,  Have you seen the shows where they paint the concrete?  They use like a wash and a sealer.  It looks really cool.  I just would be afraid it would wear off or chip.

Cat, that is something different.  I saw where they made like a watered down type of stain or paint for the cement, then put a sealer on it.

I suggested the patio to hubby and he thought it was a good idea.  But when I come up with the
money.  lol...and tinting it would be a cool idea.  Would you mix it in the cement?  I guess I could ask
the guy who does our cementing.  As if that will get done this summmer, ya right!!

Up here we have a "sand-like" concrete paint in several different colours.  We put it on our front entry (well hubby got it HALF done - just like the rest of the projects in the house) LOL  and it has stood up to shovelling in the winter.  I think it was about 5 yrs ago he did it...

as for projects around here..not too much major - i would just like to get this house finished off - room by room...ahhh dreaming again..lol
