I have been looking at new quilting sewing machines.  I have read and read reviews from various brands.  What kind of machine do any of you use or do you have any recommendations?  Right now I'm leaning toward a Pfaff.  But I don't want to invest $$ until I can research some more.  Please any input...good or bad will be greatly appreciated!!!

I just purchased a Bernina 440QE with Embroidery. It cost a pretty penny ($3K). I think I spent almost $3.5K once I got all the other necessary attachments. I'm in love with the embroidery portion.

I was lucky enough to find a Grace Quilting Frame at the St. V's a few weeks ago. Now I too need to get a mid-arm - the 4" I get from my Singer just doesn't cut it .

Let me know how your research is coming. I don't have a clue but have heard alot of good stuff about Janomes (sp?).

I have a Bernina 730E - I'll have to try it to see if I can squeeze out a little more work space.
