I would love to make my own paper.  In the back of my mind, floating around, I think I have some great ideas of some interesting papers.  I would really appreciate ideas on making the screen needed to make papers, and any other ideas.

Hi Julia, I don't know how to make paper but I've seen it done on tv. it's a process. you can put pieces of paper in a blender with water and place in between some frames with a mesh net or screen and I guess a heavy block that fits on top of screens to squeeze the water out, then remove and let dry. sorry, that's all i remember.

Thanks so much. We both have a similar take on what to do. I saw it done on the Carol DuVall Show. I will try to Google how to make paper. Maybe I will have help there.

    I appreciate your input!

As far as the screen goes, you can buy screendoor screen in a roll at home improvement stores. Then you can cut and tack it to a wooden frame. Good luck with your paper-making!
