Make a heartwarming housewarming with this delightful gift box.

You will need:
• 5" x 8" x 9" gable box
• Cardstock*: 5 sheets of coordinating pattern paper,
3 sheets white
2 sheets brown
• Punches: 3" scallop circle, 2 1/2" circle, 1/16" circle
• Corner rounder punch
• 12" of ¼" pattern coordinating ribbon
• 6" of 1/8" yellow ribbon
• One silver brad
• Paper trimmer
• Computer & printer
• Foam adhesive dots
• Paper glue
Pencil, ruler, scissors

STEP 1: Cover box. Open gable box. Place box on patterned paper. Trace all sides, cut out. Glue paper to box. Cover handles in same way.
STEP 2: Make door. Cut a 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" piece of white cardstock. Glue to center front of house, having bottom edges even. Cut a 2" x 3" piece from red cardstock. For handle, punch a 1/16" hole on right side of red cardstock 1 1/2" down from top. Insert brad in hole. Center and glue red cardstock to white cardstock.
STEP 3: Make windows. Cut two 2 1/2" squares from white cardstock. Cut two 1 3/4" squares from yellow cardstock. Center and glue yellow pieces on white pieces. Glue one window on each side of door. Note: Top of window should be 1" higher than top of door. For awnings, cut two 1" x 2" pieces from pattern paper. Round corners on bottom. Glue only top edge of awnings to top of window.
STEP 4: Make roof. Cut a 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" from both white cardstock and pattern paper. Glue together. Fold to 3 3/4" x 8 1/2".
STEP 5: Make fence. Cut twenty 1/2" x 1 3/4" pieces from white cardstock. Start on sides of door and attach strips vertically to front and sides of house 1/4" apart using foam dots. Cut four 1/4" x 8" white pieces from white cardstock. Glue bottom strip horizontally over vertical strips 1/4" from bottom of house. Glue top strip horizontally over vertical strips 1 1/4" from bottom of house.
STEP 6: Finish. Place roof on house. For tag, p unch scallop circle from brown cardstock. Use computer to print “Welcome to the neighborhood” on white cardstock. Punch out with 2 ½" circle punch. Glue white circle to brown circle. Punch a hole in top of tag with 1/16" circle punch. Insert 1/8" ribbon through hole. Make a loop and tie ends together. Insert ¼" ribbon through loop. Tie in a bow around handles of house.
