• Craft foam: red, black
• Two 7mm moveable eyes
• White gel marker
• Heart punch*
• Pinking paper edgers
• Seam sealant
• Seven 7/16" black buttons
• White florist wire TURTLE
• Craft foam: light green, med. green, light pink
• Two 7mm moveable eyes
• White acrylic paint
• Paintbrush
• Black cardstock

• Pinking paper edgers
• 12 green buttons, various sizes and colors FOR BOTH
• Magnetic strips
• Black permanent fine-tip marker
• Craft foam glue*
• White craft glue*
• Gem glue*

STEP 1: Preparation. Use compass to make a 2 3/4" circle pattern on white paper and cut out. Trace pattern and circle onto craft foam and cut out. Use pinking paper edgers to cut out circle. STEP 2: Make face. Draw mouth with white gel marker. For cheeks, punch two hearts from red craft foam. Glue in place with craft foam glue. Glue on moveable eyes. STEP 3: Assemble. Use craft foam glue to attach back to body. Glue black buttons onto ladybug with gem glue. STEP 4: Make antennae. Cut two 2 7/8" pieces of florist wire. Bend florist wire into shape as shown. Apply seam sealant to ends of antennae. Use white craft glue to attach antennae to ladybug. STEP 5: Finish. Cut two 1 5/8" magnet strips. Glue back of ladybug with white craft glue. Turtle
STEP 1: Preparation. Use compass to make a 2 ¾" circle pattern on white paper and cut out. Trace pattern and circle template onto craft foam and cut out circle. Use pinking paper edgers to cut ends of legs and round turtle shell. STEP 2: Make face. Use black marker to draw dotted lines around turtle. Draw mouth. For cheeks, punch two hearts from pink craft foam. For eyes, punch two circles from black cardstock. Dip end of toothpick into white paint and make highlights in eyes. Use white craft glue to attach cheeks and eyes. STEP 3: Assemble. Glue turtle shell onto turtle with craft foam glue. Use gem glue to attach green buttons to turtle shell. STEP 4: Finish. Cut two 1 5/8" magnet strips. Glue to back of turtle with white craft glue.
